A Gift of Life for Seals

Forty years ago, a small group of animal lovers formed a group to protest Canada’s cruel commercial seal hunt. They joined together in a crusade of compassion for animals – and a movement was born. The whitecoat seal became IFAW’s symbol of 40 years of making the world better for animals.

Your Holiday Gift of Life will help save and protect baby seals.

Thanks to IFAW supporters, the youngest seals are now protected...there are seal part bans in many countries...and the markets for seal pelts are drying up. But seals as young as 12 days old can still be hunted and the seals still suffer terribly.

Your Gift of Life for seals will help end the commercial seal hunt and protect seals once and for all, and help IFAW protect and care for so many other animals in need.
