Disaster Response: Saving Animals Left Behind

When disaster strikes - a hurricane, volcano eruption, fire or flood - animals are often the forgotten victims.

Save an animal left behind. Working with local communities, IFAW steps in to alleviate suffering, save lives, and educate people on how to prepare for emergency situations in the future.

After Hurricane Katrina struck the Gulf Coast, our animal rescue team helped rescue over 7,000 animals, while reuniting hundreds of hurricane victims with their missing pets.

Give a gift that helps make sure no animals are be left behind when the next disaster strikes.
